I absolutely love these belts. I have never been much of a belt person because they never fit me very well. These belts have changed that. The elastic makes them sit perfectly on my waist and they are fully adjustable to whatever I'm wearing! The colors and patterns are super fun for dressing any outfit up or just looking for a pop of color. With so many options, the biggest problem is picking which one to wear!

Madelyn first developed the vision for Belt It Out a few years back when she began repairing her sister's riding belts, after they had become worn and well loved! Her love for sewing spurred her to begin creating her own belts as gifts for her sister and her friends. Madelyn’s passion and strong work ethic led her down a greater path, with a goal of building a larger, more versatile company. Her vision was led by the desire to offer quality, handcrafted products, at a practical price point, that could be enjoyed by a vast range of consumers. Madelyn’s vision for Belt It Out continues to grow, as she looks towards expanding her product offerings in the near future!
Outside of Belt It Out, Madelyn is a competitive gymnast and can most often be found training in the gym. Outside of gymnastics, Madelyn loves listening to The Beatles, playing the piano and violin.
Lucy has been riding since the age of 3 and holds a strong passion for all things equestrian! Her flair for design, colors and coordination lends to building a strong brand of accessories that allow consumers to express their unique style – while coordinating not only with their favorite brand of riding wear, but their everyday clothing as well. Lucy works both behind the scenes at Belt It Out, coordinating colors, hardware and fabrics, as well as out on the front lines, marketing their products. One of Lucy’s main goals is it ensure product durability and longevity, running their product through long days of riding, wardrobe changes, and washing.
When Lucy is not working on Belt It Out, she can be found at the barn and horse shows riding, caring for the horses, or teaching the younger kids the ropes. She currently enjoys showing in all three rings - hunter, equitation and jumper - with her two boys, MTM Cocktail and MTM Special Ops.
Norah plays several key roles within Belt It Out. She can be found working behind the scenes, focusing on product organization and packaging, as well as design consultation for our younger rider belt line. Norah can often be found on the front lines as well, talking with consumers, gathering new ideas from riders, and promoting our products. Norah has a big heart and a big personality and loves nothing more than spending time with her customers and promoting their products!
Outside of Belt It Out, Norah is a competitive dancer, enjoys playing the piano and training in the area of martial arts.
